Twix Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped Twix bars (about 4-5 bars)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructeions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  4. Add Mix-Ins: Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Twix bars until evenly distributed.
  5. Scoop Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may look slightly underbaked; they will firm up as they cool.
  7. Cool and Drizzle: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Once cooled, drizzle caramel sauce over the cookies.
  8. Serve: Enjoy your delicious Twix cookies!

Tips

  • For an extra touch, you can sprinkle a little sea salt on top of the caramel before it sets.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh!
