Ingredients:
Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs Recipe
3 pounds pork side ribs (about 2 racks)
2 (12-ounce) cans of root beer
2 cups barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
Instructions:
Remove the silver skin from the ribs’ back. A spoon’s back helps to slide underneath, then peel off using fingers.
Season ribs with salt and pepper.
Lay the ribs in a 6-quart slow cooker in a single layer.
Pour root beer over the ribs.
Cook on low for 5 hours or high for 3 hours.
Remove ribs, discard the liquid, then return ribs to the slow cooker.
Coat ribs thoroughly with barbecue sauce.
Cook on high for another hour.
To Serve: Carefully transfer the ribs to a serving plate. Pair with the sauce and dive into a flavorful culinary journey.
