Ingredients:
A 100 milligram bag of white sugar
Just one yogurt scoop
a single spoonful of vegetable oil
One and a half teaspoons of table salt
6.76 ounces, or almost 3/4 cup, of milk
2. 10.58 ounces or 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
A single spoonful of dehydrated yeast
Instructions:
Combine Every Substance: Combine the oil, sugar, and salt in a big bowl. Stir in the yoghurt and heated milk when the sugar and salt have dissolved.
Using Yeast and Flour: Next, combine the wet ingredients with the flour and yeast. Combine all the ingredients and stir well.
Knead the dough for four to five minutes, or until it is elastic, smooth, and no longer sticks to your hands.
Let Dough Rise: After 20 minutes of rising, the dough should have doubled in size.
Before shaping and rolling the dough, slightly deflate it and place it on a board dusted with flour. Cut into 12 equal portions, then roll each into a ball.
Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a small circle before baking. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then cover with a tea towel. Bake in a preheated oven for 6 minutes at 250°C.
Before serving, let the pita bread cool somewhat after baking. Take a bite out of some freshly baked pita bread and indulge in its fluffy, toasted goodness.
Method for using an air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for around five minutes.
Preparing the Pitas: Once the air fryer has warmed, lightly spray the basket with olive oil.
When placing the flattened dough discs in the air fryer basket, make sure they do not overlap.
Cook until the pitas are puffy and golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Your air fryer’s model may need you to modify the cooking time.
Remove the fried pitas from the air fryer and let them cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Again: Repeat these steps with the remaining dough parts until all of the pitas are baked.
Enjoy!
