Lemon blueberry recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 cup melted butter

1 cup of sugar

3 tablespoons of lemon juice

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon of salt

1/2 cup of milk

2 t lemon peel

1/2 cup chop walnuts, optional

1 c fresh or frozen blueberries

Glaze

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 tablespoon of melted butter

1 cup confectioner’s sugar

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, beat the butter with 1 cup sugar, juice and eggs. Mix flour with baking powder and salt; Stir into the egg mixture alternating with the milk. Add lemon zest, nuts and berries. Pour the mix to greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 60 to 70 minutes.

Glaze

Mix all ingredients well. Sprinkle over the bread.
